New recipes!!

I LOVE finding new recipes that my family will eat, and enjoy, not just choke down or sneakily stuff down the garborator=). My favorite place right now to find recipes that work and taste GREAT is The Pioneer Woman Cooks she is amazing and nothing I have ever made from her site has turned out bad. Here are two that I tried this weekend. I'll let you know ahead of time that I HATE cooked green peppers so if a recipe ever calls for them I leave them out, and the apple dumplings made with Mountain Dew in the sauce really are addictive and should only be made if you are feeding a group or really want to finish the 1/2 a pan of leftovers by yourself because they are THAT GOOD.

Chicken Spaghetti
I am working on making up a new recipe book to give to my family this christmas (second edition=)) and I keep finding all these new great recipes....so not helping the whole lose wieght and get healthy thing=(. I also made pie crust in my new (thank you Aunt Clarisse) food processor, so easy , so fun, so yummy=).

The food processor is now my fave kitchen appliance, it will stay on the top of the list for a long time.

the apple dumplings were really good :)

The chicken spaghetti was good too, just a different kind of good. It's really not fair to compare dessert and main dish on a scale of goodness.

I still can't believe you got that food processor. You should definitely whine more about things you want ... maybe that's how you have to go about getting them ;)

There was no 'whining' , just a statement of fact. "a food processor is the one thing I don't have in my kitchen that I would REALLY love to have" see, no whining...major hinting, but no whining=)
