First Game...

Trev is #41 in the back

What a fun day!! I just get such a kick out of watching 'mini football'! Don't think it is football lite though, we are talking full contact, you find yourself yelling "Come on! Hit him!!" as little 9 and 10 year olds run past you=) No wonder Gary doesn't like going with me to games, I cheer like my Grandma=). The team did really well and the coaches have decided that having 2 full lines and 5 subs for each = the boys not getting a lot of play time so they are splitting the team and each team will play every other week. It means less games but more play time, they practice Tuesday -Thursday and games alternate Saturdays. Throw in basketball and Cubs and I figure I'll see Trevor again in November sometime, but he is loving it!

I know what you mean about the cheering. It's why I cannot become actively involved in watching major league sports, I get WAY too involved ... find myself yelling like a lunatic, crying ... it's a mess.

We could probably give small town Texas a run for their money when it comes to football crazy towns=) and we start young!

You're both so much like Gramma Jones. She was the loudest at her boys games. One time Ken got hurt on the field and she told your dad to go and check on him. So out he trotted on to the field to check on his brother. I on the other hand am very controlled. I loved the game on Saturday there is nothing cuter than watching those little mini equipment bodies warming up. It was Great!!
