Dawn & Sandy got in late last night from their Texas road trip, so we had a "painting party" at our house today. Good times were had by all. With my dad (who didn't want me painting by myself), Dawn's dad (aka 'Stretch'), Sandy (the designated brush and tray washer), and Rachael (whose "first thing in the morning" means 11:30 AM), it went pretty fast. This is a good thing because my shoulders couldn't have handled another full day of cutting in and rolling. I had to move pretty fast to cut in and stay ahead of the rollers.
This is the 'not sure what to call it' room that will eventually house the Bowflex, treadmill, and 'spare' TV. Need to have something to watch while exercising.

This is Rhys' room (it's harder to tell from the pictures, but it's a lighter blue than the master bedroom). He wants "fluffly clouds" on the walls now... me & my big mouth.

Rhys was a tremendous help during painting. "Grandpa Kim, you're getting paint on the ceiling." "Are we painting my room next?" "Grandpa Kim, are you supposed to get paint on the floor?"

They got home faster than anticipated. Was New Mexico not all they had dreamed and more? Or is it really Tuesday and I didn't realize...
