This FACE!!
Michael and Jenie have been living with us since August. Okay to be specific Jenie and the kids have been here since August, Michael came down on October 1. I will be the first to admit that there have been some trials, growing pains and frustrations. I will also be the first to tell anybody who asks how great it is to have them here. It is amazing to have another woman in the house. Having Jenie here to talk to and share the work load with has given me a better understanding of our pioneer forefathers and the whole polygamy thing...as long as there is a husband for each wife in the house...okay so maybe not polygamy...communal living, maybe?? I would make a great Hutterite=). But I also have to admit that one of my FAVORITE things about having the Jones' here with us is This Face!

I am honestly loving having this baby in the house, of course I am not the one up with her at night and I have to admit I don't change that many diapers so , for me, she is the PERFECT baby! I am also thoroughly enjoying getting to know all the other nieces and the nephew better. Lily constantly cracks me up and Lincoln has such an interesting way of expressing himself that you never quite know WHAT he is going to say. For example: all the kids were passing around a bug during Christmas that made them throw up and be generally gross so there were alot of buckets and bowls around our house to cut down on accidents while running to the bathrooms. When Lincoln got a fever and was sitting at the table saying he wasn't feeling well I asked him if he wanted a bucket now, in typical Lincoln fashion he answered me "No thanks, I'm not in that situation". Not "no thanks I'm not going to puke" or "no I don't need one" but "I'm not in that situation". CRACKS...ME....UP.
So in case I forget to say it in all the chaos of our everyday lives. Thank you Michael and Jenie for this opportunity to get to know you and your children better=) Mi casa es su Casa...literally.
