The Hurrier I go the Behinder I get

I have been meaning to update my blog for a few weeks now but whenever I sit down for 5 minutes something comes up. It's been over 2 months now and I figure I should just bite the bullet and write a synopsis of our families activities for the last little while before it all seems to overwhelming and I just decided to ditch the blog. This is what I use as my families journal/family history. I would hate for my kids to look back and decided Christmas 2009 never happened=)
Life has been chaotic with dance classes and recitals, Cubs and Judo, piano lessons, homework, blizzards, concerts, and holidays. The school Christmas Concert was really fun, Rhys was a polar bear, Terina a brown bear and Alaina was a Panda bear. They all performed and sang and had a great time. It was original, fun and blessedly short. Having all the kids home for 2 weeks was fun/frustrating/loud/funny/relaxing and stressful...just the same old same old around here. We finally broke our New Years curse of puking children by staying home with them and having a family movie night, I loved it and it was a lot less malodorous than the past 6 years.
Gary is traveling even more than usual right now and we have started having the kids talk to him on the phone every night when he is gone. Gary is going to set it up so that we can do some video calls so when he is gone for a week the kids don't forget what he looks like, lol.
Mom has moved in with us and we are loving having her around. The kids really enjoy playing games with her in the evenings and I am particularly enjoying my clean kitchen and bedroom=) (thanks Mom!)
That isn't even close to everything and I DO have a whole load of pictures (some taken on my new camera, THANKS HONEY!) that I will be posting on here in the next few days (hopefully).
Rhys' 7th birthday is tomorrow (wow!) , Terina and Trevors birthdays are coming up quickly too. I now have a bunch of not small children and I really don't know how that happened so quickly. I am trying hard to enjoy this time with them because I figure with the teen years looming it's never going to get better than this...at least not until they are all grown and have families of their own=)
