In the continuing saga of Alainas hair, I finally bit the bullet and cut the rest of her bangs to match (as well as I could, considering she cut them at several different angles).
They are still a mess but, hopefully, they will grow fast.
In other news Trevor had his Kub Kar rally and he and his dad set forth to make an original creation (plagiarized from Transformers) of Ratchet the yellow emergency rescue vehicle. Because Gary had to leave on Wednesday and hasn't had much time home this month the finishing detail weren't up to his usual exacting standards and everybody called it the "Cheese Wagon". Trevor loves it and it did relatively well...okay so it was the fastest of the slow, and a fun time was had by all. The winner was a kid who made his into an eraser, low and fast. There was also a Smart car that kicked every bodies butt , when it could stay on the track=) It's always fun to see the different designs and ideas the Cubs....okay their Dad's ...can come up with.

If I had been around more, I would've had time to take the burrs off the axels, which helps cut down the friction. I also would've been able to do the red stripes on the side, possibly the black roll-bars, probably even the emergency lights on top...
Next year I think we'll start in November, just to be on the safe side.
