Okay so he didn't get the black eye while PLAYING football, he got it while fooling around Sheldon while at Tristans game. But it still counts. The little cuts are from his glasses being schmucked into his face by a chainlink gate.
In other news we finally had the time and almost had enough manpower (one more person would have been nice, but we managed) to pour our patio out back. We now have a wonderful sidewalk down the side of our house, leading to a patio and (on Tuesday) the stairs to the MUDROOM. The kids can now go and dump all their stuff in a room that you can't see when you come in the front door=), very excited about that. They also each have a cubby to put their stuff in, but I'm not STUPID, nor am I asking for miracles, dumped on the floor out of site will work for now. Thank you soooooo much to Dad and Sandy and Mr.Gaff for doing this for us!! I am going to go and soak in my tub now until I can move my arms again....why do I always get stuck with the bull float???

Oh my, Dawn - that's BEAUTIFUL. Truly a thing of beauty. Being able to use that mud room will make such a huge difference.
It will be so nice to not have everything dumped right inside your front door. One year :)
