To keep my mind...
...off of the progress (or lack there of) of the addition this weekend I decided it was time to finally tile the kitchen backslash. Dad and Sandy came over on Sunday and we all got a good start on it. Monday I finished tiling, Tuesday I grouted, wednesday I regrouted (stupid shrinking grout) and tonight I caulked it all in. Tomorrow morning I can clear everything off of my island and back onto the counter where the clutter usually is :-) but for tonight I think it looks really good. I am happy about how it turned out but I think I am going to take Steves advice next time... "Dawn, they have PEOPLE for that kind of thing."... lol. This slide show is dedicated to my Father-in-Law , who thinks I am so handy when I change door knobs and showerheads, Love ya!

It looks VERY good Dawn, I am VERY impressed! Your arms must be killing you after grouting TWICE!
Dude you should totally have your own show on what, like the discovery channel, or something that looks awesome. I like how you did one tile behind the sink and then another around the rest of the counter it looks great. Hope every thing else is going according to plan with the reno.
