High on my list of favorite things about the end of summer (other than school starting again) is corn. Fresh Taber Corn on the Cob. It is a family treat and Rhys alone can, and will, eat 5 cobs all on his own=). The butter melting down , the age old art of sticking little miniature corn cob holders in each end and not getting burned, that first crisp-hot bite. There is nothing quite like it.

Oh ... Oh ... I WANT some! I CRAVE sweet Taber corn. Infact, I have had intentions of bringing home seeds to plant some for myself here in Texas. But then I thought, "Wait, but then it's not Taber corn at all. And with the difference in soil, weather, water, blah blah blah it probably wouldn't taste the same anyway."
Oh yeah, that and I don't have a garden.
Haha.
