Crazy Summer

I love kids, I really do. Now that I have said that I feel safe in saying, like Mothers everywhere, that I am counting the days until school starts and I can have my HOUSE back for a few hours a day. I feel like I have been in whirlwind all summer. The greatest thing about this summer has been having family around. The saddest was the passing of Grandma. The emotional ups and downs are going to give me whiplash. Tonight we went to Dennis and Robyns wedding and it was beautiful and perfect weather and seeing all the cousins and aunts and uncles and catching up was so great, I couldn't help but compare it to the last couple of gatherings on my dads side...I MUCH prefer the wedding.
It has been great having a housefull of kids all summer, my kids have really enjoyed having the cousins around so much and I have learned a whole new respect for mothers of large families. I have a million pictures of kids playing and things being bar-b-qued that I will post soon=) For now I should really get back to work and act like the boss for a bit...
