The school year has begun and all my free time has turned into "taxi" time. The kids are in:
Monday: Alaina and Terina , Dance
Tuesday: Terina , basketball. Trevor, Scouts
Wednesday: Rhys, Basketball. Trevor and Rhys, Judo
Thursday: Terina, Piano and Activity days
Friday: Rhys and Trevor, Judo
Add homework, MY work (some lunches and closes) Gary's travel and the myriad of things that "pop" up, like volunteering for head checks and picture days at school and September is flying by. One of my favorite things is that Barbs boy is in Judo with Rhys so I get to see her (and a selection of her kids) TWICE A WEEK. Very Cool. We have been friends for 15 years (almost) and I think we have seen each other more this year than in all the other years...combined. That includes the year we lived across the courtyard from each other in Vista Village and neither of us had any kids. Strange but true.
I have been making cakes and cupcakes like crazy but haven't taken very many pictures...I guess the novelty has worn off, lol. The next time I make cupcakes I am going to take pictures and post them and the recipe here, simply becuse I feel I shouldn't be the only one struggling with addiction. I have discovered my newest favorite kitchen thing and this time it's not a gadget , it's a FLAVOR. Vanilla Bean Paste, try it , it will change your life.

They do, IF they know where they are going and IF they aren't going to be out after dark=)
MMMMMMMM Vanilla Bean Paste. I think we should start calling it VBP. I just can't get over the whole Bean thing. My mouth is watering thinking of those cupcakes. I too am throughly enjoying Judo, but more so you.
