Yes it is true.I am now crocheting FLOWERS. In my defence they are not BIG POOFY flowers just little ones...and they are CUTE dang it. Don't judge me=)

I have made a couple of dozen hats, now I am moving on to headbands because....it's spring...I have a very short attention span...the girls can't wear their hats to school and it causes great strife....pick whichever one you want=)  I feel I have to explain that I have no idea what kind of face Allie is making in that picture...she calls it her "wierd smile" I'm not sure how I feel about her actually doing it on purpose AND having a name for it but, hey , what are ya gonna do? I have made about 10 of these headbands in the last day(ish) and they are fun and EASY and never turn out the same way twice because I am kinda making it up as I go=) The girls LOVELOVELOVE them and that is all that matters.
In my next post the continuing saga of the guinea pigs, and what you do when you have 4 kids and 3 guinea pigs.....

Finally! This afghan has become the bane of my existance=) It is the first one I've ever done and I made the typical rookie mistake and didn't leave the "tails" long enough to sew the pieces all together so I spent the last week weaving and cutting and sewing and tieing.....and it's DONE! Yay! I love the colors and the pattern and one day I MAY make another one....maybe...possilbly...
